In class we have completed a lot of the concepts in Ed Stem and R. The Live coding sessions and the unlisted videos are extremely helpful in understanding all of the concepts. The variables and assignment of values were a very interesting subject for me. I understood the the concatenate function, lists, logical operators and vectors very well. When it came to exploratory data analysis of the one dimensional data I was caught up with the class and was grasping all of the concepts. Sub setting one dimensional data was a little confusing but I figured out how to do that in R.
Data frames was a fairly new subject for me. I had worked with them before in python but they always confuse me and the syntax was a little harder to process. When it comes down to sub setting I still get confused between the which function and the Boolean values. It is a little challenging for me to distinguish what sort of sub setting I am supposed to be doing on the basis of the questions. I will revise the concepts of two-dimensional data in R to get a better hold of the concept. The t tests and the Wilcox tests were new concepts but I understand them to some extent and I will be revising them as well.
My goal for the the second half of the semester is to watch the videos and learn the concepts properly before I start doing my labs. Meeting all of the deadlines and catching up on old work is also one of my main goals for the second half of the semester.
